Štefan Varga Rođen je u Kovačici 1959. godine. Po zanimanju je službenik. Postaje aktivan član Galerije naivne umetnosti u Kovačici 1999. godine. Galerija u svom fondu poseduje 7 slika ovog autora, rađenih tehnikom ulja na platnu.

Teme njegovih slika su vezane za prošla vremena koja, po njegovoj tvrdnji, treba ovekočiti. Najčešće su to teme iz svakodnevnog života, bogato koloristički ispunjene, kompoziciono precizne, sa dobrim osećajem za prostor.
